University of Surrey Arabic Society

The Arabic Society football team are back-to-back league champions, proving their class and domination in the intramural league! The team, captained by Atef Nouar, have had an impressive run since November & managed to maintain a winning streak of eight games and jump to first place to bring the trophy back home. Not to mention having the best offensive stats (scoring 30+ goals) thanks to a lethal upfront with the goal-scoring machines trio Hakim T Mansuri, Mario Habchi & Rashid Al-Najem.
The team is going on a run for the 3rd title this term by continuing their constant outstanding performance.

DONâT MISS OUT ON THE REFRESHERS FAIR TODAY, from 12PM to 4PM âźď¸âźď¸âźď¸ Itâs your chance hear all about our planned events for this semester, ask all the questions in mind, and sign up.
To sum up our previous semester in a sequential order- weâve managed to meet lots of you at our society booth in Freshers Fair, followed by a huge turnout with around 150 individuals showing up the week afterwards at our first event for the year in the mEAT & Greet. Our trip to Bath was a huge hit as well, with great positive feedback as the destination appealed to different preferences all in all (and some ended up gaining much more than a new destination to scratch off the UK map, but winning raffle-prizes including VIP tickets to watch Whonhu Chung live in London). Not to forget the mixed gender multi-sports tournament, which had lots of friendly (& by nature, competitive) games including basketball & volleyball taking place. Weâd like to acknowledge the participation in Charity Week (by serving traditional food at the Food Festival), as well as running the weekly football tournaments and the arrival of the new kits, in addition to the girls sports sessions, including the jog and football tournament (which will definitely continue next semester on a more frequent basis).
On that note, the next semester holds lots of new and different activities and events in store. đĽ
See you today!!!

Hey everyone!
On behalf of the Arabic Society Committee members, Iâd like to officially announce the selling of our memberships for this coming year.
We hope for this year to be different in terms of additional events, that will suit almost everyone (whether itâs the social butterflies in the society, or the travel wanderers, adventurers, or even the sporty athletes). In order to become a member of the society or to renew your membership, follow this link:
https://ussu.co.uk/activity/Pages/GetMemberships.aspx
This membership will provide you with access to all events held by the Arabic Society, as well as special discount deals by our partners (including Fresco Delikafessen, Mr Falafel and Surrey Cars). To add to that, members will get to attend exclusive events, as well as priority in attending non-exclusive events (as there will defenitely be limited numbers in consideration to coach sizes and venue capacity). It's only 13 pounds for the entire year; with the aforementioned limitless benefits as well as a âGuide Meâ booklet written by the former president of the Arabic Society for the first 100 individuals to sign up.
