Welcome to the University of Surrey Women in Physics Society website!

We are a society committed to supporting minority genders and sexes in the physics department at Surrey and amplifying student voices regarding equality and diversity issues in physics. We want to provide a supportive community for minorities in physics at Surrey from undergraduates to professors and support career development through networking and mentoring.

Membership is completely free! To join the society, please visit

  • Search or scroll down to 'Women in Physics'
  • Press the right arrow to add your membership
  • Tick the terms and conditions boxes
  • Click 'pay' (you won't be charged anything) and you are a member!
